AWM
Signature: Recon
A magnum bolt-action that hits harder and further than any rifle on the board — through light cover and vehicle glass. The slowest cycle in the game demands one clean shot.
- 12x ScopeHigh-magnification optic for locking down the longest lanes.
- SuppressorHides muzzle flash and keeps you off the minimap — costs a little range and velocity.
- Cheek RestReduces scope sway so long-range shots settle faster.
- BipodDeploy on cover for near-zero recoil and a locked-down lane.
The AWM is the heaviest bolt gun in the armory. The magnum .338 round punches through cover and light armor that would stop a lesser sniper, and it drops a target from anywhere on the map with one clean hit. This is the rifle that makes an entire lane unusable.
It's slow, it's unforgiving, and in a good perch it rewrites where the enemy is allowed to go.
Enormous power, a slow bolt, and heavy sway until you steady it. Hold-breath is mandatory for the far shot; the long cycle means a miss can be fatal.
Deals full damage out to 20m, falls off to its floor by 120m. Fight inside the green and it out-trades; past the red, switch weapons or reposition.
Lead: at 700 m/s the round travels fast — hold only a sliver ahead of a runner at distance. Slower rounds need a full body of lead.
Fast, mobile, forgiving up close — for flanks, rooms, and the swing.
Flat and steady for holding lanes — trade at distance where others fall off.
Deny the whole lane
Its range and punch make an entire sightline lethal. Pick the map's longest lane and shut it down — the enemy simply stops using it.
Shoot through cover
The magnum round penetrates light cover and armor. Punish targets who think a thin wall or a vehicle window makes them safe.
One shot, relocate
The slow bolt punishes staying put. Take the shot, move to a new perch, and never let them triangulate the flash.
