Engineer
Demolitions & anti-vehicle
Turns terrain into a weapon. Denies vehicles, repairs friendly armor, and rigs choke points with explosives.
SMG / Machine PistolThe role
Anti-armor specialist — the answer to anything with wheels or tracks.
Armor turns a map into a wall. The Engineer is how you knock it down. You mine the lanes vehicles love, lock and kill them with a guided launcher, and — just as often — keep your own tank breathing under fire so it can lead the push. A single competent Engineer changes what the enemy armor is allowed to do.
The trade is real: up close, in a straight rifle fight, you are the weakest infantry on the field. So you don't take that fight. You carry a carbine or an SMG, you work from angles armor has to expose itself to, and you let the whole squad cover the ground you can't win alone.
The answer to armor. Mine the lanes vehicles love, repair friendly tanks under fire, and turn a held position into a fortress. Weak in a straight rifle duel, decisive against anything with wheels or tracks.

Class tactics
Mind the lane you mine
A mine nobody drives over is three seconds of your life you'll never get back. Seed the crossings and flag approaches armor is forced through, then watch the set — a mine plus your launcher kills a tank the mine alone only scares.
Repair from cover
A dead Engineer fixes nothing. Pull the friendly tank back behind a hard corner before you break out the tool, patch it in bursts, and never stand in the open feeding an easy kill to the gunner who's been waiting for exactly that.
Launcher discipline
Lock, fire, and move — your launch smoke paints your position the instant the missile leaves. Prioritise the vehicle that's actually threatening the push; a hit on a full-health tank rolling away is a wasted tube you'll want back in ten seconds.
You and a Driver are a package: you keep their armor alive, they clear the infantry that would swarm you. Around a fixed point, you and Support turn a choke into a kill-box — their bipod locks the lane, your mines own the flanks.
